Who we're hiring

We're always interested in talking to good electricians, even when a specific opening isn't posted.

Journeyman Electrician

Now hiring

Licensed in Idaho or Washington (we'll help you get the reciprocal license). You'll run service calls, panel changes, generator installs, remodels, and commercial work with an apprentice alongside you. If you can troubleshoot, work clean, and talk to a homeowner without a script, this is the job.

  • Idaho or Washington journeyman license; both is a plus
  • Residential and light commercial experience
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record
  • Comfortable being the face of the company at the door
Apply as a journeyman →

Apprentice Electrician

Now hiring

Registered apprentice or looking to become one. You'll work under a journeyman every day, and we sign off on your hours toward your license. We've trained apprentices who are now our journeymen. Show up on time, ask questions, and don't leave a mess.

  • Registered with the Idaho or Washington apprenticeship program, or eligible to register
  • Mechanically inclined; construction or trades background helps but isn't required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable. That's most of it.

Office & Dispatch

Future openings

Phones, scheduling, permits, invoicing, and keeping the trucks moving. You're the person who answers when a customer calls about a warm outlet at 4:45 on a Friday.

What it's actually like to work here

Home every night

Every job is within about an hour of the shop. No out-of-town weeks, no living out of a hotel.

Variety

A service call in the morning, a panel change after lunch, a generator set on Thursday, a commercial TI next week. You won't do the same thing for six months straight.

Small crew, real say

Rob quotes the work and knows every job. If you see a better way to do something, say so. It'll probably get done that way.

We don't sell junk

No quotas, no upsell scripts. You tell the customer what they actually need. That's why our reviews name our electricians by name.

Modern equipment

Stocked trucks, good test gear, and a shop on Main Street. You're not scavenging parts.

Room to move up

Apprentice to journeyman to lead. We'd rather promote someone we trained than hire a stranger.

From the owner

"I'm looking for people who care whether the panel is labeled."

We're not the biggest shop in the valley and we're not trying to be. We do good work for people we'll see at the grocery store. If that sounds like how you'd want to work, call me. — Rob

How hiring works

1

Meet the crew, see the trucks, talk pay and start date.

Questions applicants ask

I'm licensed in Washington but not Idaho. Does that work?

Yes. Either state's journeyman license gets you in the door, and we'll help you get the other one. Most of our crew holds both.

Do you take on first-year apprentices?

Yes. If you're registered or eligible to register with the Idaho or Washington apprenticeship program, we'll put you with a journeyman and sign your hours.

Is there travel?

Day trips only. Our service area is the LC Valley, the Palouse, and the Clearwater. You're home every night.

What are the hours?

Regular weekday hours with a rotating on-call schedule for emergency calls. On-call is paid and shared across the crew, not dumped on the new guy.

Do I need my own tools?

Journeymen bring their hand tools; we provide power tools, test equipment, PPE, and the truck. Apprentices get a starter set.

Can I just call instead of filling out the form?

No, all inquiries need to come thru the form below.
