Home base · same-dayOur shop is on Main Street in Lewiston. These towns get the fastest response, and most repair calls here are same-day. Both sides of the river, from the Orchards to Asotin.
The Palouse
30–45 minutes northMoscow and Pullman are regular stops: university-area rentals, faculty homes, new subdivisions, and the farm properties in between. We schedule Palouse work in clusters so a service call there isn't a special trip.
Clearwater River corridor
45 minutes – 1.5 hours eastUp Highway 12 from Lewiston. A lot of this work is rural: well pumps, shops, standby generators for properties that lose power first and get it back last, and panel upgrades on older homes.
Camas Prairie & south
1 – 1.5 hours southGrangeville and the prairie towns along Highway 95. Ag operations, shops, and homes that are a long way from the next licensed electrician. We batch these trips, so tell us if the timing is flexible.
Farther out
By arrangementWe take larger projects farther afield when the job justifies the drive: generator installs, shop wiring, commercial work. Call and describe it.

Service area questions
Are you licensed in Washington?
Yes. RD Electric holds electrical contractor licenses in both Idaho and Washington and pulls permits on both sides of the river. Clarkston, Asotin, Pullman, and Pomeroy are as routine for us as Lewiston.
Is there a travel charge?
Not within the LC Valley. Farther out, we'll tell you on the phone before you book. Larger projects usually have it rolled into the quote.
How fast can you get to Moscow or Pullman?
We're on the Palouse several days a week, so scheduled work is usually within a few days. True emergencies get a truck the same day.
Do you do emergency calls outside Lewiston?
Yes. 24/7 emergency response covers the whole service area. A burning smell in Orofino gets the same call-back as one in Lewiston; the drive is just longer.
